Grants Received

The Long County Sheriff's Office strives to save the tax dollars that the citizens of Long County work hard for, while providing the services, protection, and officer training that bigger agencies provide.

Long County Sheriff's Office regularly applies for grants through Federal, State, and Local sources that require no funds from operational costs, or a small percentage match.  These grants help purchase additional or new office equipment, hire additional officers, vehicles, bullet proof vests, training equipment and community policing projects.
