Inmates in Long County custody have several options for posting bond. Please review the accepted methods and specific requirements below.
I. Accepted Types of Bonds
The Long County Sheriff's Office accepts the following types of bonds:

II. Specific Bonding Procedures

| In-County Property Bonds | You must bring proper identification for all parties on the property and proof of the property's value to the Long County Sheriff's Office. | Requires a non-refundable state-required bond fee of $20.00. | Bail Bonds | As there is no bonding company operating directly in Long County, services are provided by approved companies in surrounding counties. | A bondsman typically charges a nonrefundable fee of 12% to 15% of the full bond amount. |
