Sex Offender Management and Enforcement

The Office of the Sheriff in Georgia not only manages the sex offenders in their jurisdictions but enforces O.C.G.A. 42-1-12.  Long County Sheriff's Office as of 07/11/2023 manages 55 sex offenders.  This number changes changes frequently. 

Offenders are assigned levels by the Sex Offender Risk Review Board, not by the Sheriff's Office.
